Tim Burton's screen adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical thriller Sweeney Todd will be available on DVD from Paramount Home Entertainment April 1.
In his adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's dark musical Sweeney Todd, Tim Burton has sweetened up the macabre tale of an innocent barber-turned-serial killer by matching his favourite actor, Johnny Depp, with his (Burton's) partner, the extraordinary looking Helena Bonham-Carter, better known for her more traditional, Ivory-Merchant Victorian roles of pretty corset-clad characters.
