Friday February 15 saw our young Whyalla Swim Club swimmers trying out for the Junior Sprints Competition. It was excellent to see our newer swimmers and squad swimmers come out to compete for an invitation to the Junior Sprints State Finals.

Six local high school juniors will be competing in Humboldt County's Junior Miss Scholarship Program on Saturday, March 1 at the Fortuna Union High School Theater. The program begins at 7 p.m. and tickets can be bought at Arney's Office & Teaching Supply in Fortuna or Scrapper's Edge in Eureka.
