A Santa Paulan wanted on several warrants who tried to hide from a Santa Paula Police K-9 received minor injuries when he was bitten inside a home on Acacia Road, according to a Santa Paula Police Department spokesman.

KINGS MOUNTAIN - Two chases and a Taser couldn’t capture a woman in possession of a stolen car and suspected of stealing gas Monday. But a K-9 search eventually led to the arrest of Teresa Evans, 43, after Cleveland County Sheriff’s deputies found her hiding in a boat.
